The Poco F1 has become the cheapest smartphone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, however, the MIUI for Poco has been in the news as well. Xiaomi has launched its first ever app launcher named as the Poco launcher app which is now available to download from the Google Play store. With the Poco launcher app all Xiaomi phone users won't need to install any third-party app to avail app launcher features.
The tweaked version of MIUI has been customised for speed and comes with a new app drawer. All Xiaomi devices are compatible for MIUI for Poco while the company has made Poco F1 launcher available for download on the Google Play Store. Xiaomi users won’t need to download and install any third-party launchers on their smartphones in order to access an app drawer, from now on.
the Poco launcher comes with an app drawer for Xiaomi handsets along with the ability to group all the installed applications on the basis of different categories. Users will also get an option to group apps on basis of icon colour while third-party app icons can also be downloaded for a better-personalised experience.
On the other hand, the Poco launcher customisations include a new search option which is placed right within the app drawer. This will help users to find everything they are looking for as quickly as possible. There is also an option to hide applications directly from the app drawer.
How to download Poco launcher on Xiaomi phones
- Go to the Google Play Store and search for Poco launcher.
- Tap on the Poco Launcher and then on the Install option
- Once the download is complete, open the app to enter your details
- Now make Poco launcher your default launcher app.

Since the Poco launcher is still in the testing phase, it has been listed as an ‘unreleased app’ on Google Play Store.
